As a place for resting, Florence accommodation in Italy has it all. You can go from a luxurious five star hotel either in the city centre or on the outskirts, tucked away in the olive green countryside to palaces, chalets, other category hotels, onto nicely decorated and well-attended pensions and guesthouses, to farmhouse holiday's, a youth hostel or affittacamere ( private rooms), campings and lastly apartments. These lodgings are not only available in summer but all year round, and with great bargains in low season. Florence wants everyone to be comfortable both body wise and economically.

Pick of the Bunch in Florence Accommodation

Let’s take a better glance at what each one of these florence accommodations holds for us:

  1. Five Star Hotel – The Savoy Hotel without a doubt is one of my favorite for enjoying luxury in sleeping, shopping and eating. Or how about the modern Gallery Hotel Art which also satisfy your lust for a superb stay. Hotel Helvetia & Bristol with its splendorous decor of classical antiquities. All of these are found in the centre of beautiful Florence.
  2. Palaces – Hotel Monna Lisa is for Renaissance lovers with sculptures from Giovanni Dupre, Hotel Scoti which shows us its charm from the 16th century and the Albergo Bavaria found in the Palace of Ramirez di Montalvo from the 16th century. All of these oscilate between 65 to 85 euros.
  3. Campings – Do not ask me how they do it, but in the centre of Florence there is a vast green area with a good wooded area called Campeggio Michelangelo. For about 25 euros you have a night’s stay for two people, your car hire and a tent. There is also a nice area for trailers, too.

Traveling by plane has never been so hectic nor so competitive, especially now with the convenience of using the internet to find cheap flights anywhere at anytime. Companies like Alitalia, Air Europe and Easyjet have incredible offers for everyone and students under 26 with an International Student Identity Card also have extra discounts. And a new way of making the flights even more inexpensive is by only selling the transport without food included. How many times have you not been able to eat what you were given and had wished for a simple sandwich.

With a quick cheap flight, a comfortable car rental, a warm cozy bed and some good maps to get around, your holiday stay with Florence accommodation is guaranteed.
